OUR STORY
We started Quigley Creations for two primary reasons.
First, our teenage son has low-functioning austism and has benefited so much from swinging. His occupational therapist, physical therapist, and even his speech therapist recommended swinging as a way of self-regulation and vestibular therapy. We have had swings hanging in our livingroom and his bedroom since he was two years old. We figured out very early on that the price of anything labeled "Special Needs" or "Therapy" ca skyrockets! Because of this, we decided to figure out a way to make swings that he would love and we came up with the perfect fabric and design! In addition, we designed swing brackets that are meant to be hung on ceilings and span across joists to distribute the weight of the swing evenly. Our son loves to spin and swing quickly and sparadically, so this ensures that he will always be safe! Our swings and swing brackets are perfect for everyone — not just special needs kids!!

Second, we love making useful, decorative products out of wood and other materials. We would build carpenter bee traps, bird houses, and other hand-made household, decorative, and jewelry items. We decided to expand this hobby into a small business. We found that people love our simple, well-built, rustic designs. They are more than decorative — they are actually useful!
Stop by often! We plan on adding items and expanding the types of products we offer. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us!
